Time for fuel system update

I'm ready to replace my FPR and injectors and such. Which cartech FPR should I get? What else is recommended as being the best for a SC GSR application? I'm looking for input.

Do you have any extra gauges ? If so, you'll notice your stock Fuel pump is quite capable of putting out 80psi which is double. You shouldn't need a new fuel pump.

I've found out that RC injectors squirt straight... unlike the stock pintal style... Venom makes a Pintal style injector .. It atomizes the fuel instead of relying on the air flow to blast apart the fuel... Using this style injector will make for an easier idle...

Good luck getting Venom's. They are out of "cores/blanks" for 96+ GSR's, so if you want a custom flow Venom injector, you have to provide the stock injector to start with.

I was shopping for these last week. JRCivic's price matches the best I found. $80 per injector. Unfortunately, he's out of our size right now.

If you find someone with Venom Custom Flow 310-320cc injectors for 96+ GSR's still in stock, let me know. I'm looking too.

What boost are you aiming for?

I'm aiming for 8psi. From what I can gather above 8psi is moving into questionable territory in terms of reliability. How much boost can safely be run through a motor with stock internals? The J&S will be installed soon, and I have the JR HO fuel pump. The Kami header is installed already. I'm shopping for the Cartech, B&M command flo, and ES motor mount kit at the moment. Then it's time for injectors and the boost upgrade.

What is the recommended injector size for a boosted GSR?

nexusone- It seems that most Teg guys are running RC 310's or Venom 320cc. I think Lund and Jim both have stated in the past that 290cc would deliver enough fuel and not effect idle characteristics as much. Ask my man Jav, he is running 310's also.
Note: Lund runs RC 310's and Jim Venom 320cc.

I'm also running Venom 320s. They were fine with 6psi and they're fine at 9psi. You just have to get the NA fuel pressure down in the range of 35psi.
